Green Riverbend Programmes is a community-driven organisation based in East London, championing sustainable food systems through agroecology, community partnerships, and farmer empowerment. At the heart of our work is Riverbend Farm — a women-led demonstration farm where we grow fresh produce, raise livestock, and provide practical training in sustainable agriculture.
Through our Training Programmes, we equip farmers and young people with hands-on agroecology skills, while FoodieBasket creates market access for small-scale farmers and connects communities with fresh, locally grown food.
Together, Riverbend Farm, FoodieBasket, and our Training Programmes form an integrated ecosystem that produces healthy food, empowers communities, supports local farmers, and strengthens food security across the regi
